FIELD: methods for control of armament.

SUBSTANCE: at gun laying additionally measured is the speed of the vertical air flow, the angular correction for this speed is determined with due account made for the aerodynamic characteristics of the shot projectile, and the position of the gun barrel relative to the sighting line is corrected by summation of the angular correction with the gun barrel elevation angle relative to the sighting line. At firing of a guided missile in addition measured are the height and the time of dispersion of the dust-smoke cloud formed at its launching. Their values are respectively compared with the height of the sighting line and the time of lock-on of the guided missile by the guidance system, and if the values of the first ones exceed the values of the second ones, the gun barrel elevation angle is in addition increased by a value not exceeding the angular surpassing of the height of the sighting line by the dust-smoke cloud and providing the permissible time of outcome of the guided missile to the sighting line.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of fire by 10-15, and at firing in a mountain - desert area with high-power rising flows the fire efficiency is enhanced by more than 20%.
