FIELD: instrumentation engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fields where rotation of spherical electro-and magnetoconducting rotor around axis arranged in any preset position in space should be provided, with possibility of measurement of this position. In proposed invention stress moments are reduced owing to the fact that all discrete ring stators are interconnected by outer ferromagnetic envelope, thanks to which they are converted into ring magnetic circuit of common tri-axis stator. Design of outer envelope can be simplified by placing ring magnetic circuits with windings on inner spherical envelope passing magnetic flux and made, for instance, of composite material. This provides implementation of new function: summing up of three relatively orthogonal rotating magnetic fields on outer ferromagnetic envelope of stator with formation of resulting vector of kinetic moment at preset angles in space. At steady state, when vector of kinetic moment of rotor coincides with vector of resulting moment of rotation, stress moments turn into zero. Constancy of position in space of vector of rotor kinetic moment at turning of stator is provided owing to the that self-excited oscillator of magnetic flux is built on combined windings of one phase of each ring magnetic circuit. Gyromotor has function of measurement of spatial angles.
EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability in operation.
