FIELD: sanitary treatment of shoes and shoes care methods.
SUBSTANCE: method involves heating and treating shoes with ultraviolet radiation, said heating and treating procedures being carried out simultaneously for predetermined time at temperature of 60-80 C. Treatment is conducted with the use of ultraviolet radiation of intensity in the range between 100 mcd and 280 mcd and average wavelength of 305-415 nm. Heating is conducted with the utilization of resistive heating member providing desirable stabilized thermal action during simultaneous and coordinated heating and ultraviolet radiation procedures.
EFFECT: provision for reliable fungicidal and anti-bacterial shoes prophylaxis and simplified method.
