FIELD: road construction materials industry; methods of production of the polymeric-bituminous compositions.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of the road construction materials industry, namely, to the methods of production of the polymeric-bituminous compositions, which may be used in the road and the airfield construction. The technical result of the invention is the increase of the adhesive capability of the binding in the asphalt-concrete mixtures used for the roads construction; the increase of the melting point, and also utilization of the polymeric wastes. The method of preparation of the polymeric-bituminous composition includes injection of the ground polymeric compound into the binding at heating up to the operational temperature and intermixing. At that, in the capacity of the polymeric compound use the wastes of the polyethylene terephthalate, which have been subjected to the thermal decomposition at the temperature of 265-280°C during 15-20 minutes with the subsequent aging of the melt at the temperature of 295-315°C during 25-35 minutes, cooling, drying and crushing of the solid melt up to the powder with particle sizes of 0.001-0.071 mm with its following injection into the binding in amount of 1.0-5.0 mass % of the binding.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased adhesive capability of the binding in the asphalt-concrete mixtures used for the roads construction, the increased melting point of the mixture, utilization of the polymeric wastes.
