FIELD: bridge building, particularly movable roller supports for bridge span structure used to erect motor road and rail road bridges and passages.
SUBSTANCE: roller support comprises upper and lower balance beams, hinge, rollers and support sheet with anticreep tabs. Cylindrical journals for support roller receiving are created in lower balance beam. The rollers are double-stage and have surfaces of different diameters. Surface having lesser diameter is inserted in lower balance beam journal and may rotate inside the journal so that sliding friction appears in-between. Surface having larger diameter may slide over support sheet under rolling friction force. Roller diameter ratio is from 1:1.1 to 1:1.2.
EFFECT: increased reliability and service life, provision of long-range displacement and increased support reaction along with centered load transmission from span structure to bridge piers.
