FIELD: bridge construction. SUBSTANCE: bearing part has upper and lower balancers connected with bridge superstructure and substructure. Balances are connected by means of hinge with cylinder surface and limiters of motion along bridge axis. Distinguishing feature consists in that substructure has herring-bone rack gears each having one rack attached to each balancer from different ends of hinge and gear meshed with it with pitch diameter equalling the diameter of hinge and installed with slide fit on each trunnion of hinge located for limited rocking along the bridge and sliding relative to both balancers at right angle to the bridge. In this case, minimum length of the sliding path of gears over hinge trunnions equals the half of the preset transverse motion of substructure and hinge radius is determined by the offered relation.
