SWITCHGEAR CABINET Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC H02B13/45

Abstract RU 2276441 C2

FIELD: switchgear cabinets prone to pressure and rarefaction forces.

SUBSTANCE: proposed cabinet is designed for installation in tunnels and/or galleries of tunnel pits for rail transport wherein pressure and/or rarefaction forces are set up. Cabinet is provided with device equalizing enhanced pressure and/or rarefaction in vicinity of its walls or within inner space to prevent deformation of cabinet or its walls and to enhance its resistance to pressure and/or rarefaction forces. Pressure equalizing device is made in the form of membranes or some sections of cabinet wall or walls are made as membranes. Inner space accommodates partition that functions as membrane. Flexible container, sleeve, or bag filled with gaseous medium can be installed in cubicle. Device designed for equalizing pressure within cabinet is made in the form of piston or bellows member.
