FIELD: electrical engineering; linear motors.

SUBSTANCE: proposed electric motor has magnetic poles of both polarities and a few pairs of permanent magnets that function as runner. Motor depends for its operation on interaction between constant magnetic field of stator and constant magnetic fields of two pairs of moving permanent magnets. Main constant magnetic field produced in linear motor by permanent magnet causes electrical-to-mechanical energy conversion. Motion speed of motor runner depends on angle between pair of permanent magnets and direction of its movement.

EFFECT: improved use of space and enhanced efficiency.
