FIELD: method and equipment for slalom exercising, may be used in entertainment industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves periodically moving slalomist's feet, skis or snowboard to the right - to the left relative to base and simultaneously providing periodical rotation thereof in clockwise or counterclockwise direction; reversing said movements and rotation of slalomist's feet, skis or snowboard, said movements and rotation of slalomist's feet, skis or snowboard being effectuated with inclination of slalomist's feet relative to base, and reversing of said movements and rotation of slalomist's feet, skis or snowboard being provided in alternation and with offset in initial phases of said movements. Regularity of said movements and rotation of slalomist's feet, skis or snowboard relative to base for one period corresponds to slalom movement law with regard to transfer motion upon movement of slalomist's feet, skis or snowboard to the right - to the left and changing their angular position during said rotation and/or advancement. Slalom simulator has base, carrier member mounted on base for movement to the right - to the left, platform mounted on carrier member for simultaneous periodical rotation therewith in clockwise or counterclockwise direction. Platform is equipped with supporting surface for slalomist's feet, skis or snowboard, and crank mechanism for synchronizing and reversing movements of carrier member and rotation of platform. Crank is fixed on base and has closed path of displacement of slide mounted on crank for sliding thereon in single direction and providing regular movement of platform relative to base according to slalom movement law with regard to transfer movement of slalomist's feet, skis or snowboard to the right - to the left and changing their angular position during their rotation and/or advancement.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in slalom skiing on mountain or water type skis or snowboard.
