FIELD: method and apparatus for exercising of mountain skiers and snowboarders under conditions outside mountains.
SUBSTANCE: method involves simulating turning passages by applying force to ski or snowboard simulators, said force being directed perpendicular to longitudinal axis of ski or snowboard simulators, toward center of turn to be simulated, or by applying force directed from center of turn to be simulated toward sportsman's body. Value of force created is directly dependent upon tilting angle of ski or snowboard simulators. Law of changing force to be created is selected in accordance with law of changing centrifugal force acting upon sportsman, said centrifugal force depending on ski or snowboard tilting angle during actual skiing or snowboarding. Apparatus has base, ski or snowboard simulators positioned for moving on base and for tilting by sportsman, power drive connected to ski or snowboard simulators, device for determining ski or snowboard simulators tilting angle, and control unit.
EFFECT: increased exercising effectiveness by creating of loads closest in dynamic characteristics and correspondence to sportsman's actions aimed at overcoming loads during actual skiing or snowboarding and, as a consequence, simulating exercising conditions closest to real exercising conditions.
