Abstract RU 2276634 C1

FIELD: welding processes and equipment, namely limiters of idle stroke voltage of welding electric arc power sources, possibly used for plasma cutting and welding.

SUBSTANCE: limiter includes power unit 2, driving member, display 7, switching device 4 and time setting circuit 6. Driving member includes voltage divider with connected in series resistors. Switching device 4 is in the form of transistor switch. Display 7 includes connected in series light emitting diodes 44 and it is connected in parallel with switching device 4. Voltage stabilizer including transistor 8 and diode bridge 9 connected in series is mounted on power unit 2. Time setting circuit 6 includes connected in parallel capacitor 42 and resistor 43 and it is connected with inlet of logic gate 27 of switching device 4 and with outlet of feedback device 5. Device 5 is in the form of electric current pickup 36 connected with inverting transistor 38 and with diode isolator 39, 40. Voltage divider 3 includes two gates 22, 23 connected with its outlet. Outlet terminals of said gates are connected with capacitor 24 and with inlet of control gate of switching device 4.

EFFECT: safe high-quality operation of welding operators at welding or cutting by means of open or plasma DC arc.
