FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology.
SUBSTANCE: one should carry out a test for D-xylose absorption with urine. At D-xylose absorption level ranged 1.35-1.35+0.04 g/5 h one should detect light severity degree, at its value being 0.8-0.8+0.07 g/5 h - average severity degree and at its value ranged 0.4-0.4+0.03 g/5 h - high severity degree of ulcerous colitis. The present innovation enables to shorten the terms of testing, recommend enzymatic preparations for correcting the syndrome detected in due time that, in its turn enables to increase patient's quality of life.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection.
