FIELD: manufacture of high-accuracy castings in ceramic molds with use of permanent patterns.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of forming metal-ceramic mold with facing layers of ceramic material onto surfaces of metallic support. Along perimeter of faced surface in base end wall of support, flat-surface vertical or through threaded openings are formed for introducing into them knocking out members. In order to separate casting from metallic mold, in said through openings are introduced: pushers, forcing screws, compressed air or pressurized liquid. Due to action upon facing layers of ceramic by means of increasing knocking out efforts applied to casting, cohesion resistance forces between casting and metal-ceramic mold are overcome for separating casting and feeding it to receptacle. Process for separating castings from metal-ceramic molds is realized without knocking-out percussion-vibration equipment.
EFFECT: improved manufacturing process due to preventing possibility of mechanical damage of metallic supports and castings.
