FIELD: pipeline transport.
SUBSTANCE: pipeline is made of riser and downtake that are interconnected through the horizontal branch pipe in which the gas-liquid mixture is separates and gas is sampled and discharged through the line for gas discharging. The gas is sampled until the concentration of gas in the mixture reaches 0.1-0.2. On sampling the gas, the corrosion inhibitor is supplied. The diameter of the horizontal branch pipe is determined from the formula proposed.
EFFECT: enhanced anticorrosion protection.
