FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method to measure the flow rate of liquid-gas mixture involves measurement of volume flow rate by the rotor speed at zero pressure drop and transfer of the data to a computing unit. Thereby the rotor speed at zero pressure drop at it is kept, the values of rotor torque and speed are measured, the mixture density is defined according to the rotor torque and is equated to one of two equations describing the relations of density, viscosity and componentwise shares of the three-component mixture to identify its share of resistance in the rotor torque. Afterwards the viscosity for a two-component mixture is defined and compared to the other of the two equations, density value of the mixture in the three-component mixture is adjusted through the rotor torque, its shares as per the mixture density and viscosity are identified, according to the obtained independent equations the computing unit identifies the mass and volume components of the three-components mixture and of the mixture mass flow rate.

EFFECT: simplified method to measure the flow rate of liquid-gas mixture at limited instrumentation set, decreased number of measurement operations requiring simultaneity for more exact measurement of medium's flow rate, measurement of flow parameters in one instrumentation point.
