FIELD: heat power engineering, applicable in heating systems of buildings, industrial blocks, transport facilities, for water heating for domestic and production needs.

SUBSTANCE: the heatsteam generator is of the power-driven cavitation type, it has a working member comprising a body, covers and a working disk with recesses made on them. The novelty in the invention consists in the fact that the working disk is made in the form of a lens with annular, concentrically positioned platforms, the inner surfaces of the covers repeat the shape of the working disk and are positioned with a clearance relative to it, additional recesses are made on the end faces of the annular platforms and covers. The body and the outlet branch-pipe may be connected by a by-pass channel. The body and the inlet branch-pipe may be connected by a by-pass channel. More than one concentrically positioned platforms may be made on the working disk. The recesses have various configuration.

EFFECT: provided quick heating of liquid before production of steam, simplified construction.
