SUBSTANCE: proposed electric drive has induction motor, three-phase rectifier bridge, starting resistor, two optical thyristors incorporating reference-voltage supply, tachometer generator, thyristor, electrolytic capacitor, line contactor with make contacts, auxiliary breaking contact in thyristor gate electrode circuit, current relay, dynamic braking resistor, and half-controlled rectifier bridge with current-limiting resistors.
EFFECT: reduced motor braking time, enhanced life of brake shoes, enhanced reliability and capacity of mine lifting installation.
