FIELD: test engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used for production of lightweight concrete and grainy heat-insulating materials. Unit of volume is filled in layer after layer with grains of porous loose material with sizes of grains of d1 (mm) and with grains of monolith material with sizes of d2 (mm); d1 is bigger than d2. Volume V1 (in cubic meters) of porous loose material is found which material is used for making mixture and volume V2 (in cubic meters) of monolith material used for making mixture. Value of factor α of move of grains of porous loose material against grains of monolith one, is found from formula α=1m3/V1m3 . Value of space of intra-grainemptiness of porous loose material Vemp is found from formula Vemp= ((V2·α+1-α)d1)/(d1-d2).
EFFECT: improved precision; higher speed of testing process; reduced cost.
