SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, method includes layer-wise filling of a unit of volume with grains of porous material and monolithic grains, determining volumetric flow of both fractions and determining volume of inter-grain hollows of porous free-flowing material on basis of mathematical relation, provided in formula of invention.
EFFECT: possible estimation of hollow characteristic value through volumetric and grain-metric characteristics of fractions with greater dimensions of porous solid bodies and fractions with lesser dimensions of monolithic solid bodies, without determining mass characteristics of filling fractions and fractions being filled and without direct determining of hollows volume.
