FIELD: radio engineering, in particular, technologies for receiving and transmitting radio signal with use of adaptive antenna array, possible use in cell phone communication systems.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, in first variant of method base station transmits signal to client station, switching direction of signal transmission between several dominant directions, selecting direction with currently maximal transmission coefficient. In accordance to second variant, base station transmits signal to client station simultaneously in all dominant directions, setting a phase difference between them, providing for coherent addition of appropriate signal components in point of receipt.

EFFECT: increased capacity of system due to improvement of main parameters of directional transmission with check connection: speed of tracking changes of spatial communication channel and trustworthiness of controlling information transmissions.
