FIELD: shaving devices, razors.
SUBSTANCE: material for making razor includes elongated flat metallic band having front and back boundaries extending along its length; pointed cutting edge extending along front boundary; weakened part between front boundary and back boundary; removable portion between weakened part and back boundary. Weakened part includes first notched portion on one side of flat metallic band and second notched portion on other side of flat metallic band; notched portions are shifted one relative to other.
EFFECT: simplified pointing of razor blade, possibility for using material of less thickness, namely steels with different properties.
