FIELD: home appliances. SUBSTANCE: unit includes elongated platform, razor members and elongated protective member. Method for making razor unit comprises steps of preparing elongated platform for holding razor blades, molding elongated protective member spaced from blade. Safety razor blade includes carrying structure for holding blades and arranged in said structure elongated protective member having large number of ribs mutually spaced one from another. Upper surface of each rib is arranged lower than upper surface of rib arranged backwards relative to first one; upper surfaces of ribs are all placed onto convex to outside arc-shaped surface. Each successively arranged backwards rib is inclined more to front edge of blade than previous adjacent rib. Elongated platform has large number of openings passing through platform between large number of bridges. Protective member is mold in situ directly on platform. Portions of material of protective member penetrate through said openings for surrounding bridges at molding process in order to fix protective member in necessary position. It allows to easily mold large number of configurations of protective member. Such design of protective member provides in addition large contact area with skin of human face.
