FIELD: vibrating magnetometer refers to measuring technique of magnetic fields and may be used for definition of magnetic properties of substances and materials in laboratory and experimental installations.

SUBSTANCE: the vibrating magnetometer has an electrical-mechanical vibrator connected with a holder of the sample, a controllable source of magnetic field, measuring coils, a heater, sensors of temperature and magnetic field, a synchronous detector, a cryostat and a personal computer. The feature of the vibrating magnetometer is in that it has coils of compensation of non-uniformity of magnetic field, coils of compensation of residue magnetic field, a sensor of the sample position, a controller of regulation of strengthening, a conjugation block and a personal computer.

EFFECT: due to placing coils and sensors in a screen out of soft magnet material located in a nitrogen cryostat and to other properties of the vibrating magnetometer discovered in details in the specification increase of sensitiveness and accuracy of measurements is provided.
