FIELD: printing industry; ink-jet printing.
SUBSTANCE: proposed printing head for ink-jet printing is provided with printing head backing including great number of fine-film layers, four matrix-columns of droplet generator arranged side-by-side which are formatted in said backing of printing head and arranged longitudinal. Said printing head contains excitation circuits which are also formed in said backing to excite each generator of ink droplets at frequency in range approximately from 15 kHz to 18 kHz, and first ink feed slot, second ink feed slot. Backing of printing head has density of ink droplet generator equal to at least 10.43 ink droplet generators per square millimeter. First matrix-column of droplet generators and second matrix-column of droplet generators are arranged from each of two sides of said first ink-feed slot, and third matrix-column of droplet generators and fourth matrix-column of droplet generators are arranged at two sides of second ink-feed slot.
EFFECT: provision of compact printing head with great number of ink droplet generators.
