FIELD: textile machine engineering, namely healds for looms, particularly for high-speed looms.

SUBSTANCE: heald includes elongated main body in the form of hollow section having two lateral walls mutually joined by bridge, at least one first cavity and at least one second cavity. Each cavity is open at least at one side. Heald also includes first rigidity body arranged in first cavity along the whole width of main body and cemented with main body; second rigidity body arranged in second cavity along the whole width of main body and cemented with main body at least at two sides.

EFFECT: increased rigidity, lowered mass of heald.
