FIELD: medicine, stomatology.
SUBSTANCE: the innovation deals with conducting roentgenological testing of the preset area. Moreover, one should fulfill an orthopantomogram. At the picture in area of air maxillary antrum one should detect minimal brightness, and in area of nasal spine, symphysis of mandibula or zygomatic bone - maximal brightness. At values of minimal brightness 3-5% gradations of gray color and maximal brightness 87-90% gradations of gray color this picture is referred to average by brightness. At values of minimal brightness 0-2% gradations of gray color and maximal rightness up to 86% gradations of gray color such a picture is referred to light ones. At values of minimal brightness from 6% gradations of gray color and maximal brightness from 91% gradations of gray this picture is referred to dark ones. The density of bony tissue should be detected against an average value by picture's brightness, at obtaining light picture the value of its gradations should be multiplied by a correction coefficient determined according to nonlinear dependence by figure 1, and dark picture - by a correction coefficient determined according to nonlinear dependence by figure 2. The application of the present innovation enables to carry out detection of the density of bony tissue of jaws in a more simplified manner and conduct comparison of the results obtained in the process of treating one patient and data obtained in different patients.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of detection.
