METHOD OF FLOTATION OF THE POLYMETALLIC GOLD-CARRYING ORES Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B03D1/02 

FIELD: mining; petrochemical industry; methods of flotation of the polymetallic gold-carrying ores.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the enriching of the polymetallic ores by flotation, in particular, to the flotation of the sulfide polymetallic ores containing as the main minerals galena, sphalerite, pyrite, gold and silver. The invention allows to improve the environmental safety, to increase the selectivity of separation of sphalerite and galena and to reduce the losses of the noble metals in the flotation tailings. The method includes introduction of the depressants, the collector, the frothier and extraction of the galena into the froth product. For depression of sphalerite use the white vitriol and sodium sulfite, and the extraction of galena into the froth product is exercised at the stage of the collective flotation of galena, pyrite and the noble metals by adding to the collector of polymethylsiloxanes and the still bottoms of the petrochemistry gained at production of the butyl alcohols, butyric aldehydes, 2-ethylhexanol, 2-ethylhexane acid, ethylene-propylene and ethyl benzene. The polymethylsiloxanes are introduced after treatment with depressants together with the collector, and the still bottoms of petrochemistry - after the collector or together with it.

EFFECT: the invention ensures improvement of the environmental safety, the increase of the selectivity of separation of sphalerite and galena and reduction of the losses of the noble metals in the flotation tailings.
