FIELD: computer engineering, possible use for processing information (images), possible use during probing of different surfaces and environments in radiolocation, optics and medicine.
SUBSTANCE: directly before the processing process, models of source images are formed, their quality, structure and parameters are determined in accordance with multiple classes in consideration and available information about source images (texture, contrast, scale, etc.). During processing those models are utilized for restoration of various classes of images, produces estimates for each one of classes in consideration are utilized when taking decisions about similarity of restoration result with one of the classes, while averaged likelihood ratios are compared to a set of threshold values, which are generated preliminarily.
EFFECT: increased informational capacity of spatial-temporal processing of images, providing for correct restoration of various images while determining their similarity with one of classes in consideration.
