FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to prophylaxis of excessive scaring after carrying out anti-glaucomatous operations. Before surgery operation in patients with the interferon-γ level in lacrimal fluid less 25 pcg/ml that represents the threatening concentration in development of the excessive scaring of efflux ways the preparation wobenzym is administrated during post-operative period every day, three times per 24 h by the developed schedule. In the first week 30 lozenges are given, in the second week - 15 lozenges, in third and fourth weeks - 9 lozenges, and in 3 months after operation - by 7 lozenges, three times per 24 h for two weeks. Method provides the persistent normalization of intraocular pressure in these patients.
EFFECT: improved method of prophylaxis.
