FIELD: mechanical engineering; load-lifting slewing boom cranes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of balancing of load-lifting boom crane consists in shifting balance weight. Used as movable balance weight is functional equipment and metal structure of crane slewing part. Load-lifting crane for implementing the method contains base, slewing gear on which turntable is mounted with functional equipment and boom, and guides. Guides are made on slewing part of slewing gear, and turntable with fitted-on functional equipment and boom is mounted on guides.
EFFECT: increased crane load moment reduced metal and energy usage and no adverse effect on environment.
