SUBSTANCE: the claimed method uses a built-in monitor of the condition of the electric trigger circuit with the aid of a shunting resistor installed in the firing pin. The position of the components of the firing mechanism is monitored with the aid of a transducer kinematically linked with the lock of the firing pin cocking and producing an electrical signal "firing pin cocked-released".
EFFECT: enhanced operativeness of monitoring, operating and accuracy characteristics of guns.
