FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: automatic cannon using recoil energy comprises a barrel made in the form of a monoblock pipe integral with a breech block, return gear, bolt and barrel clip, magazine with cartridges, cradle with mechanisms, hydraulic buffer, ramming mechanism and recoil brake, machine with platform, guidance mechanisms, automatic sight, electric servo drive, longitudinally sliding screw breechblock. In the screw breechblock of the automatic gun, the striker is made remotely controlled, with electromechanical drive of the actuator of controlled descent and firing. Control is carried out by signal from external setter of rate of fire, for example, fire control system of combat vehicle, which provides automatic calculation and introduction of temporary settings of controlled descent of striker for each shot in line in specified range of rate of fire. Signal is transmitted via cable for implementation of mechanism of controlled descent and firing, at the same time moment of actuation of striker and initiation of shot is controlled after damping of oscillations from impact of breech block against breech end of automatic gun barrel with preservation of rate of fire.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of fire at preservation of rate of fire within the limits of specified rate of fire.
