FIELD: flower growing equipment used for growing of plants within rooms, and also for arranging plants on outer front sides of buildings.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has open-top reservoir made in the form of pot and adapted for accommodation of plant root part and nutrient medium, outer open-top enclosure formed as cache-pot for disposing therein of reservoir on plate-like support, holders, and artificial light source with reflecting surface. According to one of versions, apparatus has supporting plate, outer enclosure is fixed on plate and is made in the form of spherical segment with parallel through slots. Apparatus is furnished with C-shaped light transmitting plates which are inserted into slots so as to project from outer side of enclosure. Light source is positioned between supporting plate and reservoir, and its reflecting surface is provided on supporting plate. According to another version, apparatus is furnished with rectangular supporting plate having guiding ribs formed on its extended edges, and outer enclosure is made cylindrical and is disposed in guiding ribs so as to be moved and fixed. Light source is disposed between supporting plate and reservoir, and its reflecting surface is provided on supporting plate. Such an apparatus may consist of number of reservoirs with enclosures arranged in spaced apart relation. Light sources are made in the form of lamps arranged lengthwise of plate.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing operative access to flowers and plants without need for switching off of illumination devices, and also utilization of natural lightening.
