FIELD: cable producing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at modern highly automated cable lines as controlled electric drive providing all process speeds. Device contains electric motors with brakes connected through differential reduction gears with operating mechanisms. Drive if furnished with microprocessor device made to set speeds of rotation of motor sections and tension of cable. Rotation pickups, cable line tension pickups, first and second line summers. Nonlinear units and supply voltage converters are introduced into drive. Each electric motor is connected with corresponding speed pickup and output of corresponding supply voltage converter whose input is connected with output of corresponding summer of first line. Outputs of microprocessor device are connected to setting inputs of all summers, outputs of speed pickups, to signal inputs of corresponding summers of first line, outputs of cable tension pickups, to signal inputs of corresponding summers of second line. Outputs of the latters are connected with inputs of corresponding nonlinear units. Outputs of non-linear units are connected to voltage feedback inputs of summers of adjacent sections of first line.
EFFECT: provision of electric drive with improved adjusting characteristics, higher accuracy of cable tensioning and reliability of operation under transient conditions of operation of set.
