FIELD: oil production, particularly enhanced recovery methods for obtaining hydrocarbons at early and final oil production stages.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring oil and water recovery; injecting water to specify current development conditions and to model oil pool development. Determining minimal distance from exposed interval to oil-water contact, which prevents untimely water content increase in well product; drilling branched horizontal and/or subhorizontal wells, wherein main horizontal or subhorizontal bore is arranged over oil-water contact and spaced a distance providing waterless well operation period from it. Horizontal and/or subhorizontal and/or vertical branches are drilled in ascending manner so that the branches have the same azimuth as main horizontal/subhorizontal bore and/or are displaced from it towards productive pool or seam roof.
EFFECT: increased efficiency due to enlarged waterless well operation period.
