METHODS TO ADJUST AND CONTROL PARAMETERS OF ARTICLES, PARTICULARLY, LIQUID-PROPELLANT ROCKET ENGINE Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC F02K9/80

Abstract RU 2282046 C2

FIELD: different industries.

SUBSTANCE: inventions are designed for use in different industries where two reciprocally influencing parameters are to be controlled by means of two control devices, particularly, in space engineering to control thrust and ratio of components of propellant in liquid-propellant engine. After manufacture of article, tests are carried out at least at three modes of operation at different values of first parameter taken as priority one. At each mode first devices are set in positions found by calculation and then they are-re-set in turn into pre-chosen positions, and parameters of articles are measured. Data, thus obtained, are used to determine coefficients of transmission of control devices and their corrective actions, after which article is adjusted to preset value of first parameter and to one and the same value of second parameter for all modes. After testing, dependences of corrected positions of control devices and coefficients taking into account influence of second parameter onto control devices are presented in form of polynominals of n-th degree whose constant coefficients are individual constants for said article. Adjustment of parameters of article under standard conditions is done by simultaneous re-setting of control devices in positions found by equations of their polynominal dependence from current values of first parameter and corrections for deviation of second parameter from value to which article has been adjusted at testing. Individual constants of said article are constant coefficients of said polynominal dependences. Current values of parameters are preliminarily formed as task of their implementation as a function of time and correction depending of real operation conditions of article.

EFFECT: provision of accurate adjustment and control of parameters of articles.
