FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for preparing fuel-air mixture and delivering mixture into cylinder. Proposed method of preparation of fuel-air mixture on base of gasoline includes mixing of ingredients on carburetor and subsequent homogenizing of mixture before delivering into combustion chamber. Prior to mixing ingredients, gasoline is subjected to boiling by feeding heat into sealed reservoir-evaporator from cooling system. Gasoline is heated to 70-80°C, and gauge pressure of the order of 0.25-0.35 MPa is built in sealed reservoir-evaporator. Device for implementing the methods has housing with at least one channel to deliver fuel-air mixture. Device is furnished with self-contained reservoir for gasoline connected through meter with sealed reservoir-evaporator for boiling gasoline and taking off vapour mixture into spacer connected with channel to deliver fuel-air mixture into engine combustion chamber. Evaporator is connected with engine cooling system radiator, meter is furnished with means to control pressure and level of gasoline, and also with safety valve. Device contains means for disconnecting conventional supply system of engine.
EFFECT: reduced discharge of harmful substances, increased economy of engine.
