CUTOFF VALVE Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC F16K17/24

Abstract RU 2282089 C1

FIELD: pipeline fittings adapted for automatic cutting off of hydraulic drive systems for industrial processing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: cutoff valve has casing with adjacent chambers, seat, inlet and outlet apertures communicated with pipeline and provided with feedback. Cavities of two chambers are made in the form of channels and are communicating with each other. Pressure difference regulator is located within inlet cavity of one of said chambers. Seat is provided at pipeline and outlet aperture junction site. Cavity of other chamber is communicating through drain channel with third chamber and simultaneously with pulsed pipeline which is coupled to delivery pipeline. Movable piston disposed within third chamber is equipped with sealing surface and is loaded at side adjoining piston stroke retainer. Adjusting bolt positioned within third chamber is provided with spring seating surface and is connected with casing through threaded connection. Locking device located within adjacent chamber is made in the form of plunger connected to casing by means of return spring and back stroke restrictor. Locking device is engaged with piston stem when system is in operating state. Adjustable throttle device mounted within drain channel is made in the form of valve with cone. Piston stroke retainer is made in the form of stop ring. This stop ring is disposed in lower part of working chamber, near inlet aperture of pulsed pipeline.

EFFECT: more precise and suitable adjustment and enhanced reliability in operation of protective device for preventing working fluid losses on destruction of pipelines within systems operating under variable liquid flow rate mode.
