FIELD: heat engineering, particularly heat-exchange apparatus in which the medium condenses and evaporates.
SUBSTANCE: heat pipe comprises sealed body partly filled with liquid coolant and made as tube with longitudinal ribs and channels defined by the ribs. The tube has heat inlet and outlet zones and transport zones located in-between. Longitudinal ribs have walls tapering towards tube center and create channels converging towards tube center. Rib apexes touching each other form closed wall channels and central channel. The central channel is isolated from wall channels in radial direction.
EFFECT: increased heat transport ability.
