FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat pipes, namely to gravitational heat pipes, and can be used for cooling and freezing of soil bases of buildings and structures in areas of propagation of permafrost rock. Gravitational heat pipe contains a body partially filled with fuel heat carrier with evaporation - and condensation zones and a transportation zone between them. In the transportation zone there is an insert, forming an annular pocket with the body wall and having radial channels with an open cut on the side of their ends facing the body longitudinal axis. At the periphery of the insert there is at least one groove in which there is located a ring-shaped element contacting with the body wall, and a hollow shank interconnected with radial channels. Shank is enclosed by a tube for condensate draining. Lower tube end is attached to the protrusion located on the cone plug, with which the end of the body in the evaporation zone is equipped.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of the device design and installation, lower cost of the device with simultaneous improvement of its operational reliability and efficiency.
