SUBSTANCE: the device has a bearing assembly with an edge and a trigger mechanism. The bearing assembly is fastened on the front edge of the plane of the projectile tail fin by means of one or several connecting members. The connecting members have a preset deformable point providing for separation of the projectile from the device at a shot. The method for fastening of the device to the projectile for its holding in the grenade launcher barrel consists in installation of the device on the tail fin of the grenade launcher projectile, fastening of the device on the front edge at least of one plane of the projectile tail fin by means at least of one connecting member installed between the bearing assembly and the front edge the tail fin plane.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of projectile fastening in the barrel of the grenade launcher and reduced negative influence of the device on the aerodynamics of the projectile at its launch.
