FIELD: engineering of thermo-electric batteries.
SUBSTANCE: thermo-electric battery consists of alternating branches, serially connected in electric circuit by means of commutation plates, which branches are respectively made of p-type and n-type semiconductor. Electric connection of branches is realized by means of contact: p-type branch - commutation plate - n-type branch, where p-type branch contacts by its end surface one of surfaces of commutation plate, and n-type branch - another one. Each branch in thermo-electric battery contacts with two commutation plates by opposite end surfaces. Commutation plates have area, which is somewhat greater, than area of transverse section of branches of p- and n-type, due to which their ends project beyond surface of structure, formed by branches of thermo-electric battery. Ends of odd commutation plates project beyond one surface of structure, while ends of even commutation plates project beyond another one. Commutation plates in the part, which projects beyond surface of structure, formed by branches of thermo-electric battery, have through apertures. Apertures of all even commutation plates by means of pipelines, made of electro-isolating material, are connected in unified channel, along which during functioning of thermo-electric battery, heat carrier flows. Between apertures serially connected by pipelines in even(odd) commutation plates and apertures in odd(even) commutation plates, area for mating channel with heat carrier to freezing object is provided. Thermo-electric batteries and pipelines are isolated from environment due to thermo-isolation.
EFFECT: increased temperature drops.
