FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for surface cultivation of soil.

SUBSTANCE: harrow tooth has body with shank for attachment to frame. Tooth body is made in the form of closed ellipse with central symmetric opening of the same shape. Shank axis is arranged symmetrically about vertical axis. Shank has circular section with two symmetric vertical grooves on its side surface. Conical projections are provided on axial line of symmetry of tooth, at its outer side in longitudinal-vertical plane, on two ends. Conical projections have height maximum on horizontal axis of symmetry, decreasing in upward and downward directions along line of vertical axis of symmetry and tapering down to nothing in the vicinity of shank, from the top and on vertical axis of symmetry from the bottom. Tooth body profile is also made in the form of ellipse over the whole contour beginning from shank.

EFFECT: wider working zone and improved operating parameters of harrow tooth.
