FIELD: medicine, infectious diseases.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for treatment of jaundice forms of acute viral hepatitis (AVH). Invention proposes using the biologically active supplement "Litovit O" as an agent for treatment of jaundice forms of AVH. Method for treatment involves prescription to a patient the curative Pevsner's diet № 5, curative-protective regimen, infusion therapy and administration the biologically active supplement preparation "Litovit O" since the first day after confirmation of the viral damage of liver in the dose 0.5 g, 3 times per a day in 1.5-2 h after eating for 30 days. Invention provides enhancing the detoxification effect in jaundice forms of AVH based on the optimal schedule of using the biologically active supplement preparation "Litovit O" and the complex antioxidant, cholagogic and hepatoprotective effect of its finely crystalline structure and composite being without the damage effect on the digestive tract mucosa.
EFFECT: improved method of treatment, enhanced properties of agent.
