FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling equipment.

SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, self-organizing network is used to provide wireless transmission of information in safety system of load-lifting crane. In process of crane operation, some module of crane safety system receives signal from outer module arranged outside load-lifting crane with subsequent automatic connection of said module by network coordinator (driving module) to wireless network of crane safety system and with subsequent reception of information from said module or transmission of data to said module. Corresponding additional functions of automatic protection, monitoring and control are implemented depending on type of outer connected module.

EFFECT: improved safety at load handling.
