FIELD: oil producing industry; hydraulic machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to submersible centrifugal electric pumps designed for lifting formation fluids, particularly, oil from well to surface. Proposed submersible electric pump contains submersible electric motor enclosed in cooling jacket and protector and pump installed over motor. Cooling jacket is open from below and is secured on electric pump by upper end. Upper end of cooling jacket is secured on upper part of protector housing. Space of cooling jacket communicates with space of pump through holes made in protector housing. Upper part of protector housing is made widening, with outer diameter smaller than diameter of pump flange, and is connected with upper end of cooling jacket by means of union nut and inserts. Electric pump can contains suction pipeline whose upper end is connected with lower end of cooling jacket, and lower end is furnished with entrapping filter.

EFFECT: improved reliability in operation irrespective of location of electric pump relative to source to liquid to be pumped out.
