FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas-turbine engines; axial flow compressors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designing of guide-vane assembly of axial-flow compressor. Proposed guide-vane assembly contains radial vanes 1 made integral with flanges 2 connected into ring by butt-soldering along side surface of flanges 2. To reinforce construction, slots are made on end faces 4 of flanges 2 of vanes 1 from side leading and trailing edges of feather into which reinforcement rings 5 are soldered. To reduce weight of construction, cavities can be made in middle part of flanges 2 of vanes 1 in space between reinforcement rings 5. Thanks to it total mass of guide-vane assembly is reduced. Proposed design provides decrease of overall dimensions and mass of guide-vane assembly. Soldering of vane flanges at side surfaces provides tightness of butt joint between vanes which precludes air flow between vanes.
EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions and mass of guide-vane assembly, increased efficiency of stage.
