FIELD: nuclear power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method for correcting reduced hole diameter in reactor graphite columns incorporating split graphite sleeves and process channels includes installation of enlarged-diameter split graphite sleeves and process channels whose diameter is enlarged due to enlarged thickness of channel walls in graphite column holes. In the course of service diameter of graphite column holes is corrected by reducing outer diameter of process channel using its wall thickness margin.

EFFECT: reduced damage rate of graphite blocks.
