FIELD: protection of persons getting in contact with explosive gas mixtures.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in detection of explosive gas mixtures formed in air. Proposed method enhances accuracy and informative capacity due to additional introduction of portion of explosive gas into explosive-proof chamber and monitoring of moment of admission of atmosphere into low limit zone of explosive concentration of gas mixture by positive explosion of this mixture in chamber which makes it possible to ascertain in presence of explosive gas in building beforehand, i.e. before forming of low limit of explosiveness of gas mixture and to take effective measures for escape from dangerous zone. Device proposed for realization of this method employs microcircuits supplied from 220-V electric main.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and informative capacity.
