FIELD: forestry and agriculture, in particular, equipment for gathering berries and fruits such as mountain cranberry, cranberry, bilberry, blueberry and dog rose fruits.

SUBSTANCE: berry gathering apparatus has casing with handle, main comb consisting of parallel rods fixed within casing, and rotary shutter. Apparatus is additionally provided with replaceable heads alternatively positioned above main comb. Each of said heads has intake frames made in the form of two side upright walls connected through transverse pieces. Lower transverse piece of intake frame of each head is equipped with upward bent lower edge. Main restricting plank with corner profile is attached from the bottom through longitudinal edge to bases of main comb rods. Restricting plank is directed with its cantilevered part to apexes of main comb rods so that its outer longitudinal restricting edge is spaced from surface adjoining from the bottom to generatrices of main comb rods by distance equal to or exceeding 3/4 the width of leaf of berry bush, and from proximate tangential line of restricting plank to main comb by distance equal to or exceeding the length of leaf of berry bush. Each rod of main comb is bent twice in vertical plane so as to define Z-shaped profile in longitudinal plane. Varying curvature boundary of flexure of each rod is positioned before restricting edge of main restricting plank in vertical and horizontal plane at a distance, respectively, smaller than three and one-and-a-half diameters of berries to be gathered. Apex portion of at least one rod of main comb is formed bent.

EFFECT: increased ecological safety and wider operational capabilities for gathering of berries having different sizes.
